What is Chemical Corrosion
When the pump is transgferring medium, the colloidal substances and chemical corrosion products in the medium are attached to the metal flow parts. Because of the difference of the standard electrode potentials, the potential imbalance is formed. The solubility product changes when the inlet pressure changes. Then there is concentration differential galvanic cell, resulting in electrochemical corrosion. After some time, the mental flow part is corrosed and need to be changed.
Brief Introduction of DCS Material
Carbon fiber composite material is our self-developed high-strength composite material, and has obtained national invention patent (patent number ZL201310597859.0, ZL201310343890.1). This material has excellent wear resistance and is free from almost all chemical corrosion, under certain conditions the material can be used at temperatures of up to 150 degrees.

A contrast test between carbon fiber composite material and material 2507: under the same condition, medium: F, CI>800ppm, containing 12%sulfuric acid and 30% solid content, and its temperature is 90℃
the left one: serious corrosion
the right one: almost no corrosion
When the flow part is corrosed, it is need to be changed. The service life of DCS material is three times longer than other mental material. In this way, it can prolong the service life and reduce the maintenance costs.
